At Intagliato, we bring together the rich traditions of Italian artistry and the timeless charm of coastal living. Founded by Paulina Oliwia Chodura, a skilled 3D sculptor and engineer, and Meghan O'Connell, an interior designer and entrepreneur, Intagliato was born out of a shared love for design and a deep connection to the places that inspire us.
Our Story
After relocating to Italy, Paulina and Meghan were captivated by the country’s art and history. However, they quickly noticed a lack of souvenirs that truly reflected the beauty and depth of Italian culture. This sparked the idea to create something new—timeless intaglios that celebrate Italy’s artistic legacy with a modern twist.
Combining Paulina’s expertise in precision craftsmanship and Meghan’s eye for interior design, we embarked on a mission to breathe new life into the Italian intaglio tradition. Each piece is handcrafted in Italy with meticulous attention to detail, blending classic techniques with contemporary aesthetics.
Beyond our Italian-inspired designs, we’ve also drawn on Meghan’s love for Nantucket and her summers spent on the coast of Cape Cod. Our Nantucket Collection is a celebration of coastal symbols like lighthouses and seashells, infused with the same level of artistry that defines our Italian pieces.
